Fashion & Cosmetics, Why Aren’t You Using a Wrinkle Mask?

October 29th, 2008 by admin

You might disagree, but hear me out on this. Fighting aging skin cannot be done only by applying an anti-aging cream or staying out of the sun. You need to take further measures. I am not talking about going under the knife or getting botox. Those are expensive and drastic measures that are simply unnecessary. I’m talking about making a wrinkle mask a part of your regular skin care regimen. When looking for a wrinkle mask, you will probably see collagen commonly used as an active ingredient. The first valuable wrinkle reduction tip I can give you is this: Don’t use collagen skin care products. Sure, it sounds logical to apply collagen topically since collagen loss is one of the main causes of aging. However, in order to stop collagen loss and stimulate its re-growth you need to halt the degenerative process that leads to collagen loss in the first place and this is complicated. In order to stop collagen and elastin loss and stimulate re-growth, you need to find a wrinkle mask that contains active manuka honey, avocado oil, Cynergy TK, and Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10. These ingredients are scientifically proven to stop collagen loss and stimulate its re-growth. The result of using a face mask with these ingredients is smooth, wrinkle-free skin. Additionally, these ingredients have a long list of other benefits. An important wrinkle reduction tip is to use a mask that contains active manuka honey because it supports skin cell renewal, assists in the formation of stronger collagen, and protects your skin against damaging free radicals. Only manuka honey with the unique manuka factor, or UMF, contains the special healing properties that provide these benefits. Avocado oil is an important ingredient in wrinkle mask because it is a powerful antioxidant, stimulates collagen production, and increases soluble collagen in the dermis of your skin. Cynergy TK works by stimulating skin cell renewal on top of stimulating collagen and elastin production. After applying a mask with Cynergy TK you will feel like you have applied a layer of liquid skin. Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 is a valuable ingredient in wrinkle mask because it consists of microscopic particles that deeply penetrate the skin to destroy free radicals. Only this special form of CoQ10 should be used because it penetrates your skin like no other. If protecting your skin from harmful UV rays, reducing wrinkles, and enhancing skin cell activity are important to you, make sure to use a face mask that contains Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10. Another valuable wrinkle reduction tip is to use not one, but two types of face masks. Look for a deep hydrating mask and a deep cleansing mask. Use each of them once every other week and alternate them for the best results. A deep hydrating mask is important to use in order to moisturize your skin since day creams and night creams don’t always do the trick. A deep cleansing mask is necessary because toxins build up in your pores and they need to be removed on a regular basis. So there you have it. Getting rid of wrinkles is no easy task but with the aid of a good wrinkle mask you will be on your way to softer, more youthful skin. Look for masks that contain the important ingredients mentioned and your wrinkles will become a thing of the past. Tips On Your Baby Skin Care by Low Jeremy

October 29th, 2008 by admin

Although babies have basically flawless skin, some babies appear to have irritations and redness on their facial skin. This should not alarm parents as this condition is actually quite normal and would probably stop all on its own.

Baby skin is actually the purest and the healthiest as all functions are still active and the skin is still well hydrated. There is little damage from sunlight that can be seen and blemishes are non-existent. Of course, damage will eventually be visible as children will most likely play outside under the sun when they grow a little bit older.

One thing that parents must understand though is the fact that not because children’s skin are flawless, their skin is not damaged or is not being damaged. Oftentimes, the visible signs of damage come later in life.

And because children have no idea in what skin care is or could not care less on the condition of their skin 10 years in the future, it is the responsibility of the parents to educate their children on the needs and begin a skin care regimen that will help prevent the onset of various skin problems like dark spots, wrinkles, warts and acne.

It is never too soon for them to learn how to take care of their skin and it is never too soon for you to worry about your babies’ skins. In fact, it is important that parents realize this because the care for the skin of your children will rest solely on you.

Although there is really no need to get into medications and other stuff because the skin of babies are basically healthy, there is still a need to start protecting the skin from the sun. This can be done by wearing clothes that will shield them from the sun, wearing hats and sun-visors.

It is also important not to expose them too much in direct sunlight especially in noontime. If you do plan to go to the beach, make sure that you use sunscreen on them. There are sunscreens made especially for babies that are available in the market.

With bathing essentials like soaps, parents should stay clear of products that have added components. The milder and purer the better as the skin of babies and young kids are sensitive. Additional ingredients such as perfume may only irritate the skin and cause allergies. Coloring agents in baby products are also a no-no.

Stop Stressing Over Teen Acne

Teen acne has long been a problem for generations past and present. If your teenager is dealing with acne, most likely they are suffering unnecessary stress and embarrassment too. Unfortunately, the extra stress can also lead to extra acne. Although acne is a day to day problem, it can cause long term skin damage. Many teenagers will squeeze or pick at the acne, leading to permanent scarring. Thankfully, the good is that today’s teenagers don’t have to suffer through their acne. There are many products on the market, such as the PCA Acne Kit, that can eliminate bacteria and shrink pimples, giving the skin much needed relief and ultimately clearing and healing the complexion. What Is Causing The Acne?Acne commonly starts in the early teenage years. This is due to an increase in production of skin oil from the natural oil glands. When normal dead skin cells mix with the oil, it causes pores to become clogged. There are actually two types of pimples: whiteheads and blackheads. A whitehead happens when the oil and dead skin cells clog the pores or hair follicles. Blackheads occur when the pores or hair follicles are clogged closer to the surface of the skin and get exposed to the air. A worse type of acne, called cystic acne, happens when the follicle wall breaks deep within the skin and causes cysts to form. Each type of acne or pimples can be cleared with the right treatment. Helping Your Teenager Control AcneThere are so many reasons why teenagers cannot seem to find relief from their acne. With very busy lifestyles and natural impatience, teenagers will likely have a difficult time maintaining a consistent acne treatment regimen. Forgetfulness also plays a major role in teenagers keeping up with an acne treatment that will help to clear their skin. The keys to really healing and clearing the skin is consistency, along with finding the right acne skin care regimen that will work for your teenager. A treatment with specific steps like the PCA Acne Kit is probably the easiest solution for managing and healing your teenager’s acne problems. With this type of treatment your teenager will have specific products to use in a certain order such as a cleanser, an acne cream, a mask, and other products and steps that will help to establish a daily routine.Quick Tips For Your TeenagerJust remember not to let your teenager take matters into their own hands. Squeezing or picking at pimples can cause permanent acne scars. Continue to stress the importance of remaining consistent and maintaining the acne therapy every single day at the appropriate times. Consistency is key – so buying the right teen acne treatment regimen like the PCA Acne Kit is an important step in achieving clear and healthy skin. Remind your teenager that he or she is not alone! Understand that problem acne can cause emotional issues for your teenager and can affect his or her social life. Tell your teenager that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that if they continue to cleanse and treat the problem, it will eventually go away – leaving them with fresh, clean skin in the end.

Anti Aging Natural Skin Care Products Really Work

Anti Aging Natural Skin Care Products Really Work
by Robert Melkonyan

Have you ever wondered if anti aging natural skin care products are better than their counterparts with artificial and synthetic ingredients? This article will cover a few pointers as to why natural products are better for your skin, and should help you to be able to find the best anti aging skin care regimen.

One reason that separates natural ingredients from their counterparts is that there is a higher probability you will know exactly what is going into your body. When you go into the uncharted territory of synthetic and artificial ingredients that make up skin care products, it is hard to determine the exact effect these ingredients will have on your skin. When looking at anti aging natural skin care products it is much easier to know how the ingredients will interact with your body, because they are natural ingredients and you have familiarity with them and how they were harvested and used to enhance the anti aging cream.

Another positive attribute to natural ingredients and products is that there is less likelihood of having an allergic reaction or irritation to your skin. When you begin putting chemicals and ingredients you cannot even pronounce on your skin, you are increasing your chances of reacting to something in the product. Anti aging natural skin care products help to prevent this by using ingredients meant to nourish the skin and help it to look younger and more radiant.

Using natural ingredients also means minimal levels of physical processing. This means that there is less chemical interactions and additions to the actual natural ingredients. This is important for several reasons in your anti aging natural skin care products, which tie into the reasons that are listed above. It all boils down to knowing what you are putting in your body and making sure that the ingredients are effective and are not going to produce adverse effects such as allergic reactions or puffiness.

As we live in a society that is producing more and more waste and pollution, many people are trying to find ways to help reduce their consumption. Many people do this by recycling in their community, and working to reduce the amount of waste that they have. Another important way to play your part for the environment is to use natural products. As well as using less resources to produce, natural ingredients will not cause undue pollution once you are finished using the product, and it moves on back into the ecosystem.

When researching anti aging natural skin care products, these concepts are important to keep in mind. By taking into account these ideas, you will be able to be confident that you have chosen the best anti aging skin care product. Not only will you have chosen an effective anti aging natural skin care product, but you can also feel content with the knowledge that it will be better for your skin overall, and be better to our environment.

Why Astringents Are Effective In Preventing Acne by Jason Rickard - ArticleCity.com

October 28th, 2008 by admin

There is a long list of beauty and skin care products that promises anyone acne-free skin. In truth, there is no single way to treat acne. There may be different ways of preventing and eliminating acne because this skin problem may differ according to a person’s skin type.

Astringents are by far the most common skin care regimen in the market today. Aside from being affordable, they are rarely known to have any damaging side effects. They are cleansers that help prevent acne and not really a medication. Take note that astringents are not advisable to be applied to the acne itself because they may clog pores. Astringents are best for maintaining and preventing future acne breakouts and if you already have a pimple-free face, then astringents are recommended for maintenance.

The word astringent comes from the Latin “astringere” which means to bind fast. Because of astringents’ cleansing properties it could also heal insect bites, minor cuts, and other infections. They are mainly composed of chemical substances that allow body tissue to shrivel. Astringents when applied to the skin can effectively protect it from harmful substances that can worsen or generate acne but because astringents have the tendency to dry skin, it is important to use appropriate moisturizers after each application. Be sure to stay out of the sun’s glare or use a sunscreen protection.

You can try over-the-counter astringents you can find in the drugstore or beauty shops. They come in different concentrations, so be sure to get one that is suitable for you. In commercial products, astringents can contain silver nitrate, zinc sulfate and oxide, and benzoin. It may also have some amounts of tannic and gallic acids. Alternatively, you can also use natural products in place of synthetic products. You can try oatmeal, talc, alum, light cleansing alcohol, witch hazel and even very cold water.

Keeping your face acne-free is just a matter of good hygiene. Wash your face with clean water and a good soap or facial scrub every night. The key to a blemish-free skin is maintenance. You can try using astringents if it proves to be suitable to your skin type but remember to consult your dermatologists if irritation occurs.

The Dangers of anti aging creams that use Toxic Chemicals

October 28th, 2008 by admin

The Dangers of anti aging creams that use Toxic Chemicals

Only buy anti aging creams from companies that have signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics. Any cream or lotion should be safe, but when it comes to anti aging creams, it is really important.Older skin is more sensitive. You want to undo damage, if possible, not cause more. The wrong skin care regimen could cause allergic reactions, clogged pores and scarring. As collagen and elastin production decreases, as well as the formation of new skin cells, it is more difficult for the body to heal itself. You also have to consider the health of the rest of your body.If you take good care of yourself, you may live much longer than your parents did. Our life expectancy has increased. The biggest threat to a long life, other than heart disease, is cancer. Anti aging creams could contain compounds that either cause or are suspected of causing cancer. Many major companies have refused to sign the compact for safe cosmetics. Companies like Revlon and Estee Lauder, so-called specialists in skin care, have yet to sign. They both sell their own versions of anti aging creams. In the United States, there are legal loopholes that allow the $50 billion industry to use ingredients that have not been tested or monitored for adverse reactions. The labeling on these products is inadequate. They do not warn consumers that parabens may cause cancer. They are allowed to use just about anything, but everyone knows that chemicals pass through the skin’s layers and enter the blood stream. That’s why trans-dermal patches for motion sickness and other conditions work. The medication passes through the skin and into the bloodstream. So, if something is suspected of causing cancer, it should not be rubbed on the outside of the body. You wouldn’t eat it. We don’t eat things that cause cancer. But, the FDA and the Bush administration specifically disagree.Asking companies to change the composition of their anti aging creams and use something safer doesn’t seem like a lot to ask. But, it would cost them money. Well, it’s going to cost them a lot more money if people begin to realize what’s in those bottles and stop using them.In the European Union, laws are stricter. Cosmetic manufacturers have been prohibited from using chemicals that cause cancer or birth defects. The Compact for Safe Cosmetics asks that companies stop using harmful ingredients. It doesn’t seem like a lot to ask, but thousands of companies will not sign.Everyone wants to look better, but most of us want to live longer, too. So, look for anti aging creams, but look for safe ones. There are safe and effective anti aging creams that contain nothing that could be considered harmful. In fact, some of the most effective ingredients come from plants and other natural substances. The best anti aging creams contain compounds that are extracted from sea algae, to prevent loss of proteins necessary to build new skin cells. They also contain jojoba wax, which heals wounds, fades scars, wrinkles and stretch marks. In order to build new collagen and elastin, your body needs the right nutritional support, but taking a supplement is not enough. Anti aging creams that contain vitamins, minerals and antioxidants will really help you look younger and better. But, please choose the right manufacturer.

Skin Care regimen

Skin Care regimen

Natural skin care is the care of the skin (the largest organ of the body) using naturally-derived ingredients (such as herbs, roots, essential, natural substances, etc). The classic definition of natural skin care is based on using botanically sourced ingredients currently existing in or formed by nature, without the use of synthetic chemicals, and manufactured in such a way to preserve the integrity of the ingredients. As a result of this definition, many people who use natural skin care products, generally make their own products at home from naturally occurring ingredients. There are five basic skin care types: Oily, combination, sensitive, dry and sun-damaged. Your skin type is determined by how much — or how little — oil your skin produces. Genes, diet, stress level, medication and even your skincare regimen all determine how much oil your skin produces.Multi-vitamins, Fish Oil, and Vitamin E are great for healing dry skin. Some people swear by Flax Seed Oil instead of Fish Oil. The fatty acids found in both of these supplements are beneficial to not only skin, but other body functions as well. A lack of Vitamin E in your diet can directly lead to dry skin.On the cheap to start you can make your own natural scrub just blend a little sugar and olive oil together and leave for 5 minutes than rinse with warm water, your skin will be smooth for days. Do this at least once a week. Take a 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 Tbsp. of olive oil and 1 Tbsp. of any extract (vanilla or mint). Mix all ingredients, wet your skin, massage the scrub into your skin, leave for 5 minutes and then rinse with warm water. It’s common for red bumbs to happen after starting new skin care treatments/facial. The cleansing actually brings the impurities to the surface. It might be a problem at first, but keep it up.They will go away. This is why they always tell brides not to have facials too soon before the wedding. Put a little toothpaste on any acne you may have right before you go to bed and sleep with it on. try doing a simple avacado mask: 1-2 pulps of an avacado mush em up! then apply evenly on the face wash off after 15-20 minutes Age Spot remover 1 slightly beaten egg white, 1 tablespoon fine sugar, 1 table spoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide. Mix. Pat onto those spots and let it dry, do this remedy frequently to remove them.Tea and beer improve the look of the hair and are easy to do. Begin by boiling two servings of tea leaves either loose or by opening two tea bags and placing the contents in the pot. strain the leaves from the liquid and allow it to cool. apply to hair as a rinse after shampooing and gently comb the tea through the hair for a minute or two. rinse lightly and then style your hair as normal. Try 1/2 cup of honey with two tablespoons of olive oil. Mix well and massage into hair. Cover it with a shower cap for 30 mins. Shampoo and rinse well hair will be silky smooth and shiny. Vinegar and mayonaise does make your hair shine. I wouldn’t use honey on my hair though, just because it might be hard to get out. You can use honey as a mask on your face though! Apply 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to damp hair. Work into hair and then cover with a shower cap or towel for up to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and then shampoo as usual.

Anti Aging Eye Cream

Anti Aging Eye Cream

As on old saying goes; ‘The eyes are the window to the soul.’ If you were to ask, wouldn’t you want to have good looking eyes?

Unfortunately, as we age, so does our skin. Over time, the make up of our skin becomes thinner, weaker, splotchier, drier, and more fragile, while unhealthy lifestyle choices, sun exposure, and environmental pollutants take a ravaging toll by accelerating that process upon our skin.

To more effectively combat the visible signs of aging, you should have a basic understanding of the facial aging process. With aging, skin cells replace themselves more slowly, the underlying support network of elastin, collagen, and “baby fat” breaks down, and sweat %26 oil glands slow down production, causing skin to become thinner, less elastic, saggier, and drier with its diminished ability to absorb and retain moisture.

The thinnest and most delicate area of the face is the skin around the eyes. Visible signs of aging appear mostly on these areas thus this should be the main target for your anti aging skin care regimen. The wrinkles that appear on the outer corners of the eyes are known as laugh lines or crows feet. And because of these signs of aging, there is a high demand for eye wrinkle cream and other anti aging skin care creams.

In choosing wrinkle creams, we should know the basic and effective ingredients used on these anti aging skin care products. This is for us to determine how effective a certain products when applied on the skin. To be safe, it is good to choose those products that are well known to the public and has a good reputation according to the users.

An anti aging eye cream can work from a variety of different approaches to combat the visible signs of aging . Some products produce immediately perceived reductions in wrinkle and fine lines through the clever use of light. Products with hyaluronic acid help hydrate and plump up the skin so that wrinkles become less noticeable.

Other products work to relax tight facial muscles, to help release wrinkles of habit. However with any anti aging eye cream, you want it to feel comfortable on your skin, moisturizing, but not too heavy. You should also remember that products with UV protection help prevent further aging from sun damage.

Because there are so many anti aging products on the market, the way these products work on the skin is very important. The longer the cream and serum stay on the face, the longer it can retain moisture on the skin. These kinds of creams and serums are great for overnight application. Choose those high quality products that are finely processed. These skin care products are not thick and heavy when applied on the skin.

When these skin care products are used consistently, you can achieve maximum results from them. Daily application is very important to maintain the smoothness of the skin and to keep it moisturized. If you use these creams in a long period of time, you can eventually see its other effects such as SPF protection. When choosing a product, always buy from those that offer money back guarantee and product trial. By this, you can easily evaluate the effectiveness of the product. Keep these things in mind and choose the anti wrinkle eye cream that is suitable for your skin to help you reverse the process of skin aging.

Part of the problem with Western women is the need for immediate results, always expecting the cosmetic surgeon to save the day using invasive procedures that often end in failure. However there are common beauty care products that are neither costly nor risky, and can have a multitude of benefits that help women stay both healthy and beautiful. When we think of beauty care products for the skin we typically picture cold cream and anti-aging formulas but there are countless items that promote healthy, youthful skin and these may be some of the most important beauty care products on the market. The skin that covers our entire body has an important role to play in continuing our health and beauty so should not be overlooked when it comes to regular maintenance. The first and most important step in any skin care regimen is to cleanse your face to remove any makeup, dust and bacteria that it has encountered throughout the day. Gently massage your cleanser into your skin in circular motions using your fingertips and then rinse off with warm water but only pat your skin with a soft towel to dry it. To ensure your PH balance is not disrupted, you will need to use a tone after the cleanser has been applied. Make sure that you take time to add a little lotion and massage to your routine as moisturizers make your skin look and feel soft and supple and can minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. By using this beauty care product it will help lock in the moisture something which helps to maintain the skins beauty and condition. As a regular aspect of your skin care regime you should use a natural peel or exfoliant once or twice a week which helps remove dead skin which can clog the pores. It is important to remove all traces of the peel or exfoliant so you will need to cleanse the skin and then tone and moisturize as normal. If you suffer with lines, wrinkles or puffiness around your eyes then a good beauty care product suggestion is the use of eye creams which will improve the delicate skin in this region. Often forgotten, water is an important aspect that provides many beneficial properties to help the skin, like hydration and removing unwanted toxins. It is not a good idea to forget the important role our skin plays in our overall health and of course how we look so taking care of it is not just about vanity.
