Herbal DHT Blocker

Herbal DHT Blocker - Your safest bet! If you are a victim of DHT hair loss a herbal DHT blocker might just be your safest bet to over come the problem and salvage what’s left of your hair. DHT hair loss affects almost ninety five percent of men all over the world it is the highest factor contributing to hair loss. So how does DHT actually make a man (or woman) lose their hair? The explanation is simpler than the cure, unfortunately. How DHT affects the growth of hair DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) is a by-product of a chemical reaction of an enzyme called the 5 alpha reductase and a hormone called testosterone. The two combine to form DHT, which ultimately causes complications in the body, the most common being DHT hair loss. Though there are many DHT blockers in the market it is always safe to request your doctor to prescribe a herbal DHT blocker for your hair loss problem. A herbal DHT blocker actually prevents the reaction of 5 alpha reductase and testosterone to a great extent thus preventing the formation of DHT. It is when this DHT is formed in the hair follicles that trouble ensues. DHT binds itself to the cell receptors of the hair follicle and starves it of nutrients it would other wise get from the blood. This starvation finally kills the follicle, which first begins to grow weaker, thinner hair. The less on has of DHT the better for the hair growth and this is exactly what herbal DHT blocker supplements seek to achieve. Some DHT Blockers supplied by nature Some of the naturally occurring DHT blockers are found in Saw Palmetto, which is a palm-like plant found mostly in North American. The natural extracts from saw palmetto berries are rich in fatty acids and sterols known to block 5-Alpha-Reductase and reduce DHT binding with hair follicles. These fatty acids also reduce the binding of DHT to androgen receptors. The liposterolic extract of saw palmetto combined with beta-sitosterol has produced outstanding improvements in anti-androgen activity in numerous studies. The other herbal DHT Blocker agents are Boarage oil, Stinging nettle, Green tea extract, Grape seeds, Apple skin, Black cohosh, Licorice, Ayurvedic anti-stress tea and many more herbal DHT blockers to be found at www.procerin.com. Blood Type Diet: Fact or Fiction…?

October 27th, 2008 by admin

Blood Type Diet: Fact or Fiction…?

As per the author of book ‘Eat Right for Your Type’ Dr. Peter DÁdamo, there is a relationship between the blood and the foods one eats. According to him, there occurs a chemical reaction between food and blood which is caused by a factor called lectins. These lectins are a class of plant glycoproteins that act like specific antibodies but are not antibodies in that they are not evoked by an antigenic stimulus. They are abundant and diverse proteins found in foods, and have agglutinating properties that can cause various molecules and some cells to stick together. The idea behind this theory is that blood type O’s are the dominant, hunter-caveman type that require meat in the diet, that type A’s are docile vegetarians, while Type B’s are dairy-eating omnivores. This idea has become a manifesto for many people to rationalize including regular portions of meat and other animal products in their diet. Fortunately, most lectins found in the diet are not quite so life threatening. Ninety-five percent of the lectins one absorbs from typical diets are sloughed off by the body but at least five percent of the lectins one eats are filtered into the bloodstream and reacts differently in different organs, D’Adamos believes. What makes the “blood type” theory a little less convincing is D’Adamo’s postulation that lectin proteins on some foods cause blood agglutination in people of certain blood types who are “not evolutionarily suited” to eat those foods. However, agglutination is a very serious and potentially life-threatening phenomenon, whereby the red cells in the bloodstream stick together, and forming irreversible clumps. As we all know, red blood cells deliver oxygen to the cells of vital tissues like the brain, heart and kidneys. To accomplish this delivery, red blood cells must flow through capillaries so narrow that they must line up in a single file. If the red cells are being agglutinated by lectins or anything else, clumps of red cells will clog up the capillaries and block the blood flow. Thus, the blood stream will be prevented from delivering its life-sustaining cargo of oxygen to the tissues served by those capillaries.Since most people are not even aware of their blood types, let alone what foods are “evolutionarily inappropriate” for them to eat, it can be assumed that on most days most people eat the “wrong foods” for their blood type. By the way there are a lot of easy ways to learn your blood type. So, according to D’Adamo’s theory, many people experience repeated showers of agglutinated red cells throughout their bloodstream after almost every meal - day after day! If this is true, then blokes like me, who don’t even know their blood type, are living a medical miracle everyday because if the capillary beds in our organs are subjected to barrage after barrage of agglutinated red cells, they would eventually have clogged up by now, resulting in serious tissue damage with fatal irreparable damage but thanks goodness, we are perfectly alright!Nevertheless, we all have different nutritional needs, and different people are suited to different types and amounts of food. However, these differences are not significantly determined by the blood type, contrary to what Blood type diet theory says. There has not been any research or scientific evidence in ‘Eat Right for Your Type’ which proves otherwise. The only suggestion for optimal nutrition is to pay attention to what your body tells you, and to focus your diet on fresh, whole foods – grown as organically as possible.

Buying Lenses- Discount Contact Lens Facts

Buying Lenses- Discount Contact Lens Facts

Buying Contacts Online - Are there really Discount Contacts? Consider the facts.

Contact lenses, also known as contacts come in both hard and soft varieties. Contacts usually serve the same purpose as conventional eye glasses but are less cumbersome and almost invisible.

They are often composed of various types of polymers and contain some variant of silicone hydrogel. . This makes them flexible, similar to the human tissue.

Previously, hard contact lenses were made of a polymer known as PMMA, or Polymethyl methacrylate. They have since been replaced by rigid gas-permeable (RGP) contact lenses. Today many contact lenses are made of hydrophilic, or ‘water absorbing’ materials. This allows oxygen to reach the cornea, and make the lens more comfortable to use.

It has been estimated that 125 million people use contact lenses around the globe. About 35 million people in the United States wear contacts. The types of contact lenses people are buying vary tremendously between countries. Japan, Netherlands and Germany buy select disposable contact lenses about 80% of the time and about ninety-five percent of the time in Scandinavia.

In addition to the practicality, many people wear contacts because they think that they appear less attractive when wearing eye glasses. Contacts are easier to replace than glasses and don’t steam up. Glasses can be dangerous when used while doing vigorous activity and eye glasses don’t have the wide field of vision that contacts offer. Some physicians prefer their patients to use contacts for specific vision issue that can’t be addressed with glasses, such as keratoconus and aniseikonia. Patients with these conditions tend to have better vision when wearing contacts.

Many patients with imperfect vision begin wearing contacts when they reach puberty are about 10 years old. This is a time of life when looks is a serious concern. This is an issue for teenagers that are active in sports and programs in which they perform.

Contacts use is continued throughout a patient’s life, especially now that there are more uses for contacts that apply to both the patients’ medical and personal needs, such as color contacts and stigmatisms.

There are numerous options for purchasing contacts. Purchasing contacts online can be hassle free and less expensive than buying from a doctors’ office. The contacts are delivered to your home. It is essential that you buy from a reputable online store that will verify your prescription with your doctor. If this were not taken care of you may get the wrong prescription. They take the time to make sure you get what you need.

Shoplens is a reputable company with a large selection, including PureVision, Colored Contacts - Freshlook Colorblends, Acuvue Oasys and Softlens 66 Toric, PureVision Multi Focal, Pure Vision Toric, Acuvue 2, Acuvue Advance with Hydroclear, and numerous other hard to find and popular products.

When you online the turn around time is very fast. You can elect to pay more and get the contacts delivered sooner, but the delivery time is already great. When you compare the prices of Shoplens to 1 800 Contacts you will find that Shoplens actually passes the savings on to you.

I like the reorder program. It allows you to refill an order with the same prescription as long as it is still valid. It is worry free, when you know that most orders ship directly from the manufacturer. Who would have thought that Buy Contacts could be so easy?

Vitamins To Help Prevent Morning sickness

Vitamins To Help Prevent Morning sickness

Between fifty and ninety-five percent of all pregnant women, as well as some women who use hormonal contraception experience morning sickness, which is also referred to as nausea, vomiting of pregnancy, or pregnancy sickness. The nausea can range from being mild to severe enough to induce actual vomiting. Extreme cases, which are referred to as hyperemesis gravidarum may result in hospitalization to treat dehydration. Although morning sickness can occur at any time throughout the day, it often occurs upon waking since blood sugar levels are at their lowest after a night without food. This condition usually begins in the first month of pregnancy, where it is at its worst between the fifth and seventh weeks and ends around the fourteenth or sixteenth week. At this point in pregnancy, the embryos organ systems are being laid down and the embryo is most susceptible to birth defects. Although there is not enough evidence to blame one single cause, there are many theories for possible causes of this condition. Some of these include: an increase in the level of estrogen circulating throughout the blood; low blood sugar, which often occurs during pregnancy; an increase in progesterone which relaxes the muscles in the uterus, preventing early childbirth, but also relaxes the stomach and intestines, leading to excess stomach acid; and an increase in sensitivity to odors, which in return over-stimulates normal nausea triggers. Women who deal with morning sickness are told to avoid foods that are bitter, pungent, or highly-flavored, as well as foods that are likely to contain toxins. Morning sickness offers an evolutionary advantage, since studies have demonstrated that those women with more severe morning sickness are less likely to miscarry or have a child with birth defects.

For those of you who are pregnant and are having problems with morning sickness, there are ways to help. At least half of all pregnant women experience some type of upset stomach at least once during their pregnancy. If the morning sickness is mild, there are a couple things you can do in order to control it. First, avoid any foods or smells that will trigger your stomach to be upset. Its a good idea to develop certain eating habits which decrease the frequency of morning sickness such as eating small frequent meals and avoiding hunger pains. You should plan on eating a snack high in protein in the evening to regulate your blood sugar and a few crackers or toast in the morning after waking. Its also a good idea to take a prenatal vitamin daily. If problems consist, try drinking ginger, peppermint, fennel seed, and red raspberry teas regularly. Flat sprite can also help to settle an upset stomach. Some women use acupressure bands, breathing exercises, and aromatherapy to relieve morning sickness. If your morning sickness is severe, you should see a doctor. Your nausea may be connected with other problems or you may be suffering from a type of morning sickness that can endanger your health and cause pregnancy complications. Although the causes are unknown, treatment usually consists of vitamin shots or pills anti-nausea medication, and IVs to re-hydrate you if vomiting is causing serious problems.

Vaporizers Working Logics

Vaporizers Working Logics

A volcano vaporizer combines simplicity of use, a high degree of safety and high efficiency. As during the past few years there has been an increase in sales and a decrease in production so volcano vaporizers are available at easy and good deals. Also there quality has improved from the past times. The process of vaporization or volatilization can be explained as a process which releases the essential, active elements of a substance without burning it. It implements a cutting-edge convection technology which releases just enough heat and air to discharge these vital elements but not enough heat and air to actually combust the material. Any herb which is traditionally smoked may also be vaporized, just as effectively or even more so, without the usual drawback of health risks. Vaporizer represents a safer and healthier alternative to smoking also and that also with three to four times’ greater delivery of active ingredients when compared with smoking. Thus we can say that an investment in the Volcano pays for itself in the shortest possible time.

The process of vaporization does not produce smoke, tar and little or no other toxic elements. It is because, unlike combustion, vaporization does not induce substantial denaturing of the substance. If a substance is denatured, its chemical make-up may change when catalyzed by, for example, a flame. As new compounds are created which were not inherent in the plant itself thus we can call it denaturing. One of the main property of vaporization technology is the very fact that vaporization does not substantially alter the compounds being vaporized and does not create any elements that were not originally present in the source material. Till date Volcano Vaporizer can be considered the best in spite of being the more expensive vaporizers on the market. Studies have found that if herb is burnt in the vaporizer, the vaporizer eliminates over 110 chemicals, delivering ninety five percent pure cannabinoids in vapor. Thus these studies showed a substantial reduction that is about ninety nine percent in certain toxins in the vapor as compared to marijuana smoke.

Another reason is that a unique collection system avoids loss by collecting vapor in a special balloon. The volcano vaporizer has bought a revolution in the smoking industry. This smoking cessation device is just as effective when used to vaporize “alternative” herbs as with commonly combusted material like tobacco, if not more so. Herbs represent a safe alternative to the dozens of harmful chemicals found in tobacco. Hundreds of legal, herbal alternatives come from all over the world and are smoked for a variety of ailments and experiences by folks. These herbs can be chamomile, yerba santa, passion flower, ginseng, jasmine, absinthe/wormwood, blue lotus and damiana, among many others, and most can be easily purchased from any living room in the world via the Internet.

Hair Loss Is A Problem For Both Men And Women

October 13th, 2008 by admin

Hair loss is a natural part of the body’s process of renewal. The causes are many and varied but one thing is for sure and that is untold millions of people of all sexes and ages are affected by it worldwide. If you loss your hair, the correct medical term for this occurrence is Alopecia. Androgenic Alopecia may not be a term you have heard but it accounts for nearly ninety five out of one hundred cases of hair loss in men; it is usually referred to as Androgenic Alopecia, and it’s hereditary.

However, it may be that your diet needs attending to if your hair loss is only moderate. Exposure to chemicals or cosmetics, hormonal imbalance, stress, anxiety and mental tension are some of the other causes. Please note that if your hair follicles are undamaged then there is a good chance that your condition may only be temporary; it is only when the follicles are damaged that the problem can become permanent. Surprisingly, women account for nearly 4 in every 10 sufferers in America today; so it is not, as commonly thought, a male problem.

In fact, hair loss is also common among women as they age although with women a thyroid condition is one of the more common causes. By the time they reach sixty, forty percent of women around the world will have experienced loss of some form or another. Another period where women may suffer some hair loss that is not age related is during and after pregnancy. Approximately 30 million women in the United States experience female pattern, hereditary baldness.

A relatively new treatment is to surgically restore hair for sufferers of permanent hair loss. It involves the process of transplanting hair follicles from one area of the scalp to another. Hair transplants have become the most popular form of hair restoration treatment for men with the entire procedure done under local anaesthetic and on an out-patient basis. It is now possible for women to enjoy this hair restoration treatment that men have been using but it is becoming popular for women who also wish to hide some scarring caused by previous face lifts.

It is important to try and keep your appearance as close as possible to your original when having hair transplant therapy and not try to look like someone else. For a person planning on having hair transplant surgery, all current health issues must be cleared up before any treatment can commence. Even though hair restoration is a cosmetic procedure, aspects involved are different from other forms of cosmetic surgeries. New hair restoration techniques are being discovered all the time but if you have not found success then perhaps hair transplant therapy might be your only course of action for your hair loss.
