Why the Best anti wrinkle creams should contain these Breakthrough Ingredients

Why the Best anti wrinkle creams should contain these Breakthrough Ingredients

Opinions vary about the best anti wrinkle cream and, of course, every company will say that their product is the “best”. Otherwise, you wouldn’t buy it.Men and women have different issues, so they need different lotions. There are also different needs for daytime and nighttime. It’s a big subject, so I’ll focus here on what a woman’s day-cream should contain. The best anti wrinkle cream for a woman to use during the day should immediately address the visible signs of aging and contain compounds that will gradually reduce fine lines and wrinkles, while improving firmness and elasticity. In other words, you want something that works both fast and slow.A special compound designed by a company in New Zealand does just that. The proprietary name is CYNERGY TK. It contains bioactive keratin, a protein found in human skin. It’s extracted from sheep’s wool and manufactured carefully so that the protein remains active and readily available for use by the skin. The consistency is something like liquid skin and it actually “fills in” fine lines and wrinkles. The translucent film is just enough to slightly bend light and cause a smoother appearance, immediately. But, it’s the best anti wrinkle cream because with continued use, it increases the number of new skin-cells that the body produces. So, over time, wrinkles actually do become less deep and fine lines disappear. Scientists can actually measure the increased production of skin cells. In clinical studies, after only three days of use, there was a 160% increase in skin cell proliferation. That would probably be enough, but there’s more. The skin needs to be hydrated or moisturized in order to be firmer and more elastic. Most firming creams contain a compound that paralyzes the facial muscles and no one knows the long term effect. It’s similar to the way that Botox works and that’s only a temporary cosmetic fix. It does nothing to improve the skin’s health over time. The best anti wrinkle cream has been shown to immediately improve hydration and elasticity. The effect lasts a full 24 hours and there are no side effects. Other companies suggest that you test on an inconspicuous area before use. That’s usually because something in the lotion is known to cause allergic reactions. You’ll see no warning labels on the New Zealand skincare products. They are 100% safe. They have been fully tested in clinical studies for adverse reactions and effectiveness. The women’s day cream will even reduce redness and inflammation. Those bags under your eyes will start to disappear and if you’ve had some red spots or irritation, those will go away, too. Instead of increasing irritation, these products “heal”.They contain a number of unique antioxidants and plant extracts in different combinations for men and women, specially designed for use during the day and at night. Dermatologists say that the best anti wrinkle cream is one that contains protein, antioxidants and moisturizers. They also suggest that you avoid allergens, petrolatum and the daily use of sunscreens. When it concerns the skin’s health, it is the dermatologist’s opinion that you should trust.

The Top antiaging skin care product

October 28th, 2008 by admin

The Top antiaging skin care product

In my opinion, the top antiaging skin care product on the market is not available in department stores or advertised on TV. It doesn’t come from one of the big cosmetic companies. It doesn’t have a designer or a celebrity’s name on the front. It can only be purchased direct from the manufacturer. What makes it the top antiaging skin care product? It’s all about the ingredients. Let me tell you about them.Cynergy TK is the closest thing that we have to a miracle. It actually reverses the skin’s aging process. It is so similar to a basic protein found in human skin-tissue that it can be used by the body to build more cells, collagen fibers and elastin. It’s almost like applying liquid skin to the face or body. It comes in both a body lotion, a day cream and a night cream for the skin. There are versions for both men and women, because we each have unique needs. The top antiaging skin care product also contains something called nano-lipobelle. It is an emulsion of vitamin E and COQ10 created by a patented process that allows it to penetrate through the many layers of the face. It destroys free radicals that cause wrinkles and skin cancer. It also prevents the formation of age spots and reverses damage done by the sun.Phytessence wakame is another ingredient in this top antiaging skin care product. It is extracted from Japanese sea kelp that was used traditionally for healing injuries and to keep faces younger and healthier looking. Researchers found that it actually blocks an enzymatic process that breaks down one of the proteins that is important for building new skin-cells. So, scientific fact supports the traditional use.Capuacu butter comes from the fruit of the South American tree of the same name. It was used traditionally by native tribes to prevent sun damage and heal burns. As a moisturizer, it is excellent.Scientific evaluation has shown that it contains essential fatty acids that heal and nourish. It soothes and relieves inflammation and feels wonderfully fresh. You may have noticed that this and all of the other ingredients in this top antiaging skin care product comes from natural, rather than artificial sources.Babassu is a natural wax that softens and soothes. It creates an invisible barrier that helps with moisture retention. It also protects the face from dirt and pollutants in the air. It comes from the Babassu palm, which grows in the Amazon region of Brazil. Again there is traditional use and scientific evidence to support its effectiveness. It works for both dry and oily, as well as combination complexions. It is not drying like paraffin wax (a more common ingredient). Proven benefits include the relief of eczema, itching, dryness and inflammation. That’s five active effective ingredients in my pick for the top antiaging skin care product. Most creams and lotions have one, maybe two active ingredients and the content is so low that effectiveness is next to impossible. And, there are three other ingredients that I didn’t even mention. Take the time to find the best and you’ll be happier with the results.

The Dangers of anti aging creams that use Toxic Chemicals

October 28th, 2008 by admin

The Dangers of anti aging creams that use Toxic Chemicals

Only buy anti aging creams from companies that have signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics. Any cream or lotion should be safe, but when it comes to anti aging creams, it is really important.Older skin is more sensitive. You want to undo damage, if possible, not cause more. The wrong skin care regimen could cause allergic reactions, clogged pores and scarring. As collagen and elastin production decreases, as well as the formation of new skin cells, it is more difficult for the body to heal itself. You also have to consider the health of the rest of your body.If you take good care of yourself, you may live much longer than your parents did. Our life expectancy has increased. The biggest threat to a long life, other than heart disease, is cancer. Anti aging creams could contain compounds that either cause or are suspected of causing cancer. Many major companies have refused to sign the compact for safe cosmetics. Companies like Revlon and Estee Lauder, so-called specialists in skin care, have yet to sign. They both sell their own versions of anti aging creams. In the United States, there are legal loopholes that allow the $50 billion industry to use ingredients that have not been tested or monitored for adverse reactions. The labeling on these products is inadequate. They do not warn consumers that parabens may cause cancer. They are allowed to use just about anything, but everyone knows that chemicals pass through the skin’s layers and enter the blood stream. That’s why trans-dermal patches for motion sickness and other conditions work. The medication passes through the skin and into the bloodstream. So, if something is suspected of causing cancer, it should not be rubbed on the outside of the body. You wouldn’t eat it. We don’t eat things that cause cancer. But, the FDA and the Bush administration specifically disagree.Asking companies to change the composition of their anti aging creams and use something safer doesn’t seem like a lot to ask. But, it would cost them money. Well, it’s going to cost them a lot more money if people begin to realize what’s in those bottles and stop using them.In the European Union, laws are stricter. Cosmetic manufacturers have been prohibited from using chemicals that cause cancer or birth defects. The Compact for Safe Cosmetics asks that companies stop using harmful ingredients. It doesn’t seem like a lot to ask, but thousands of companies will not sign.Everyone wants to look better, but most of us want to live longer, too. So, look for anti aging creams, but look for safe ones. There are safe and effective anti aging creams that contain nothing that could be considered harmful. In fact, some of the most effective ingredients come from plants and other natural substances. The best anti aging creams contain compounds that are extracted from sea algae, to prevent loss of proteins necessary to build new skin cells. They also contain jojoba wax, which heals wounds, fades scars, wrinkles and stretch marks. In order to build new collagen and elastin, your body needs the right nutritional support, but taking a supplement is not enough. Anti aging creams that contain vitamins, minerals and antioxidants will really help you look younger and better. But, please choose the right manufacturer.

Anti-Aging and Chemical Peels

Chemical Peeling for Aging Skin CareAs the name implies Chemical peeling peels the skin with chemicals. It is also called dermapeeling or chemexfoliation. By peeling off an outer layer of the skin, it allows new skin to form, which is new and fresh, and without some wrinkles. Chemical peeling is used to remove photo aged skin damages. How chemical peeling is done for skin careWith chemical peeling, chemical solutions are applied directly to the skin. The choice and strength of chemical depends upon the results desired. For mild peeling, mild chemicals are used and so on. Sometimes, a light peel is repeated over time to get desired effect. With mild peel, superficial wrinkles and sun damage is removed. For more damaged skin such as skin having age spots, freckles and acetinic keratoses, a medium peel is used.Skin care and strength of chemicalsDepending upon the skin damage, and the results desired, the dermatologist decides the kind of peeling to be performed.Skin care and peeling chemicalsCommon peeling chemicals include alpha hydroxy acids, trichloroacetic acid, carbolic acid and other chemicals.Skin care and side effects of chemical peelingThe chemicals peel the old skin and that’s sort of like a sunburn. What the doctor is doing is to remove the old skin to a certain depth. That naturally causes redness and scaling of the skin. As new skin forms, the redness and scaling disappear. With medium or deep chemical peeling, the skin may develop blisters and swelling along with redness and peeling that may last for up to two weeks.Skin care and discomfort with chemical peelingSome discomfort will result as the skin peels. Your doctor may prescribe lotions to reduce the discomfort. Exposure to sun must be avoided for some time and protection must be taken from sun till the new skin forms and all the side effects disappear. With chemical peeling, surface skin damage is removed.

Skin Care regimen

October 27th, 2008 by admin

Skin Care regimen

Natural skin care is the care of the skin (the largest organ of the body) using naturally-derived ingredients (such as herbs, roots, essential, natural substances, etc). The classic definition of natural skin care is based on using botanically sourced ingredients currently existing in or formed by nature, without the use of synthetic chemicals, and manufactured in such a way to preserve the integrity of the ingredients. As a result of this definition, many people who use natural skin care products, generally make their own products at home from naturally occurring ingredients. There are five basic skin care types: Oily, combination, sensitive, dry and sun-damaged. Your skin type is determined by how much — or how little — oil your skin produces. Genes, diet, stress level, medication and even your skincare regimen all determine how much oil your skin produces.Multi-vitamins, Fish Oil, and Vitamin E are great for healing dry skin. Some people swear by Flax Seed Oil instead of Fish Oil. The fatty acids found in both of these supplements are beneficial to not only skin, but other body functions as well. A lack of Vitamin E in your diet can directly lead to dry skin.On the cheap to start you can make your own natural scrub just blend a little sugar and olive oil together and leave for 5 minutes than rinse with warm water, your skin will be smooth for days. Do this at least once a week. Take a 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 Tbsp. of olive oil and 1 Tbsp. of any extract (vanilla or mint). Mix all ingredients, wet your skin, massage the scrub into your skin, leave for 5 minutes and then rinse with warm water. It’s common for red bumbs to happen after starting new skin care treatments/facial. The cleansing actually brings the impurities to the surface. It might be a problem at first, but keep it up.They will go away. This is why they always tell brides not to have facials too soon before the wedding. Put a little toothpaste on any acne you may have right before you go to bed and sleep with it on. try doing a simple avacado mask: 1-2 pulps of an avacado mush em up! then apply evenly on the face wash off after 15-20 minutes Age Spot remover 1 slightly beaten egg white, 1 tablespoon fine sugar, 1 table spoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide. Mix. Pat onto those spots and let it dry, do this remedy frequently to remove them.Tea and beer improve the look of the hair and are easy to do. Begin by boiling two servings of tea leaves either loose or by opening two tea bags and placing the contents in the pot. strain the leaves from the liquid and allow it to cool. apply to hair as a rinse after shampooing and gently comb the tea through the hair for a minute or two. rinse lightly and then style your hair as normal. Try 1/2 cup of honey with two tablespoons of olive oil. Mix well and massage into hair. Cover it with a shower cap for 30 mins. Shampoo and rinse well hair will be silky smooth and shiny. Vinegar and mayonaise does make your hair shine. I wouldn’t use honey on my hair though, just because it might be hard to get out. You can use honey as a mask on your face though! Apply 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to damp hair. Work into hair and then cover with a shower cap or towel for up to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and then shampoo as usual.

Treatment of Deep Acne Scars

October 27th, 2008 by admin

Treatment of Deep Acne Scars

Deep Acne scars are usually caused by severe acne like cystic acne. Although, a permanent cure may not always be possible, there are a few useful treatment methods that can be followed to greatly reduce the scarring.Skin Renewal Process: Our skin consists of many layers. The upper layer of the skin is called the epidermis which has about 4 layers. As the skin grows old, the cells from the lower most layers of the epidermis keep getting pushed to the topmost layers and there they eventually die. As the cells die, they are again replaced by newer skin cells from the lower layers. This is a natural phenomenon by which our skin renews itself. The above skin renewal process is the natural way by which the acne scars and blemishes are removed as the old skin wears itself out.Deep Scars Removal: But, if the scars happen to be deep, the renewed new skin would also contain the scar. Some scars take long time to heal while others could be permanent and may require appropriate medical treatment.Various treatments for deep acne scars are available and can be chosen depending on the depth and severity of scarring and the nature of ones skin. Some of the popular methods for treating deep scars are Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, and Laser treatment. Sometimes, surgery and skin grafting can be resorted for treating deep skin scars and pits that result because of severe acne. It is very important to be informed about the pros and cons of the scar removal treatments before choosing an appropriate one, as some treatments if done wrong could result in further worsening the the existing condition.

Defining the differences between various types of skin care treatment that use lasers.

October 27th, 2008 by admin

Defining the differences between various types of skin care treatment that use lasers.

Here I only want to provide unbiased, simple explanations of what some of the different options are when it comes to laser skin resurfacing and how they work.

There have been significant advances in facial skin care and the use of lasers for the purpose of skin rejuvenation. What seems to be getting a lot of attention these days is Fraxel or fractional non-ablative skin type of skin resurfacing. That’s a mouthful isn’t it? Once those words are understood it is becomes quite clear. So let’s start with fractional. What that means here is that only a portion or fraction of the skin in the treatment area is receiving the laser in very thin slice like beams. This method penetrates quite deeply and leaves microscopic areas untouched while simultaneously penetrating the skin in these slices. The next word, non-ablative, is best understood by understanding ablative of course. Ablative means to surgically remove, so here we’re talking about no removal of tissue. Basically then this procedure uses microscopic laser beams to make multiple shallow slices into the skin. The purpose then is to damage the skin to stimulate a healing response and therefore promote collagen formation resulting in plumper skin and less wrinkles.

Another type of laser facial skin care, or skin resurfacing is laser ablative resurfacing. Since we know ablative means to remove, what this procedure does is essentially remove the top layers of the skin, thus injuring the skin, with the result being replacement of these top layers with new skin. This type of skin care treatment probably sounds painful, and make no mistake it is, plus recovery time can be lengthy.

The next type of laser skin resurfacing would be a method using a little of both of the previously mentioned methods. This is called fractional ablative where microscopic slices of the top layers of the skin are removed. This method is used to cause less of the skin to be damaged making it less painful and shorten recovery times.
